UGC NET Syllabus 2020 (Latest): UGC NET Exam goes to be conducted from June 15 to twenty , 2020. All the interested candidates can download the UGC NET Syllabus PDF from this text .

UGC NET Exam, the exam which tests the eligibility of Indian Nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ or for ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ both in Indian Universities and Colleges. UGC NET Exam Registration has begun from March 16, 2020, and can endways April 16, 2020.

Latest: UGC NET form has been released on March 16, 2020. Interested candidates can apply till April 16, 2020, from the official website i.e. ntanet.nic.in.

UGC NET Syllabus 2020: The foremost step for the preparation of internet exam is to be completely conscious of the UGC NET syllabus. The NTA UGC NET 2020 exam will contains two papers. UGC NET Paper 1 are going to be common for all the aspirants. UGC NET Paper 2 are going to be subject-specific (For e.g. If a candidate opts for Electronic Science, he/she will attempt the questions from Electronics Engineering).

The Paper 1 of UGC NET exam will comprise of fifty questions. One hour are going to be provided to aim this section. The syllabus of this paper includes 10 different sections. The weightage of every section is that the same, i.e. 5 Questions (5*2=10 marks) from each section (as per the previous trend).

UGC NET Paper-I Syllabus
The main objective is to assess the teaching and research capabilities of the candidates. The test aims at assessing the teaching and research aptitude also . Candidates are expected to possess and exhibit cognitive abilities, which include comprehension, analysis, evaluation, understanding the structure of arguments, deductive and generalization .


The candidates also are expected to possess a general awareness of teaching and learning processes within the education system. Further, they ought to remember of the interaction between people, environment, natural resources and their impact on the standard of life.

  • Thesis writing: its characteristics and format.

III. Reading Comprehension
  • A passage to be set with questions to be answered.

V. Reasoning (Including Mathematical)
