Patriarchy
Patriarchy, hypothetical social organization during which the
daddy or a male elder has absolute authority over the family group; by
extension, one or more men (as during a council) exert absolute authority over
the community as an entire . Building on the theories of biological evolution
developed by Darwin , many 19th-century scholars sought to make a theory of
unilinear cultural evolution. Patriarchy , This hypothesis, now discredited,
suggested that human social organisation “evolved” through a series of stages:
animalistic sexual promiscuity was followed by matriarchy, which was
successively followed by patriarchy.
Patriarchy was the primary structure of domination,
subordination and exclusion which is recognized intrinsically by History with a
capital H (recognized patriarchal history) and still remains a basic system of
domination. Ironically, while being the foremost powerful and enduring system
of inequality, it's rarely perceived intrinsically even by women themselves. In
fact, precisely because the invisibilization of Patriarchy is one among its
institutions, even some feminists deny its existence.
Kate Millett Patriarchy
Patriarchy Kate Millett, author of the groundbreaking
bestseller Sexual Politics, was the feminist who launched the second wave of
the women’s liberation movement. Millett, who has died aged 82, developed the
idea that for ladies , the private is political.
The basis of Sexual Politics (1970) was an analysis of
patriarchal power. Millett developed the notion that men have institutionalised
power over women, which this power is socially constructed as against
biological or innate. This theory was the inspiration for a replacement
approach to feminist thinking that became referred to as radical feminism.

women’s freedom of expression and freedom of movement. this technique has
strictly determined the role of girls in a day jobs. A women’s status is linked
together with her family and her role is taken into account to be important if
she is bearing and rearing children and is caring elder relations . Patriarchy Patriarchy
Discrimination between women and men are often seen within the sectors of
education, access to health facilities, employment, political participation,
deciding and job opportunities and fewer investment and interest in female’s
education may be a common practice in society.
