Food born disease are:-Any ailment brought on by eating tainted food that has been infected with harmful bacteria, viruses, or parasites is referred to as a foodborne disease, sometimes known as a foodborne illness or food poisoning. Write a note on food borne diseases.- Unhygienic methods used in food production, harvesting, and preparation are the root reasons.

Types of food born diseases:-

Intoxications:- When a person has drank enough alcohol or drugs to noticeably impair their mood, physical function, or mental capacity, they are said to be intoxicated. Alcohol intoxication, for instance, occurs when drinking results in cognitive or motor dysfunctions, such as slurred speech, trouble walking, or confusion.

Infections:- Stomach and intestinal inflammation is a result of a foodborne infection. You may become infected if you consume food or liquids that have been exposed to bacteria, viruses, or parasites. Inflammation frequently causes diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, cramps, and even fever. One to three days are the possible duration of a foodborne illness.

Write a note on food borne diseases.-Simply because of poor hygiene, many foodborne diseases happen in people's homes. It's as simple as not washing your hands after using the restroom and then preparing dinner. A risk of cross-contamination includes, for example, using the same cutting board to chop raw meat and lettuce. Foodborne pathogen contamination could occur even if you chop both with the same knife. Consuming raw shellfish or partially cooked meat or fish both increase the risk of contracting a foodborne infection.

Toxi-infections:- Food poisoning are those diseases that are caused by the ingestion of food with the presence of pathogenic germs or their toxins.
