Explain the following with examples: probiotics, prebiotics and synbiotics.

1. Probiotics:- Live bacteria known as probiotics, which naturally present in the gut, play a significant role in preserving homeostasis and general health. Both entire foods and supplements contain them. The digestive tract is home to millions of different bacteria, some of which are more advantageous than others. This bacterial balance is vulnerable to disturbance and can result in a variety of health problems and discomforts due to the many realities of modern living. It can be perplexing to hear people refer to "good" and "bad" microorganisms. It is more realistic to say that while there are billions of gut bacteria, some of them are pathogenic and may be harmful to your health. Detoxification, immunological response, and hormonal balance are just a few body processes that can be impacted by an unbalanced ratio of "good" to "bad" bacteria. .ex. Raw sauerkraut, Kimchi, Kombucha tea, Kefir,Miso ,Nato ,Plain yogurt -Explain the following with examples: probiotics, prebiotics and synbiotics.

2. Prebiotics:- Prebiotics are naturally occurring non-digestible carbohydrates found in a variety of high-fiber meals. Similar to other forms of fibre, they travel through the upper digestive tract undigested before continuing to the small intestines, where gut bacteria ferment them to produce lactic acid. Prebiotics can be thought of as nourishment for the beneficial bacteria (probiotics) in your stomach.

One of the more well-known prebiotics is an oligosaccharide, which can take on several shapes. Oligofructose and inulin are further prebiotics. Prebiotics are naturally occurring and can be incorporated into your everyday diet, just like dietary fibre. Together, probiotics and prebiotics help maintain a healthy microbiome, which is essential for general health. Garlic, Jerusalem artichoke, Onions, Green bananas,Green plantains.

3. Synbioctics:- Probiotic and prebiotic supplements are known as synbiotics. In other terms, we refer to prebiotics and probiotics when they are combined as synbiotics. The probiotics' viability is increased by synbiotics. Live microbial dietary supplements have a better chance of surviving and implanting in the gastrointestinal tract thanks to synbiotics. Additionally, they specifically promote the growth and metabolism of one or a small number of bacteria that are good for your health. Synbiotics are used to help probiotics survive any potential challenges.-Explain the following with examples: probiotics, prebiotics and synbiotics.
