Definition of Waste

liquid item that is discarded by homes, communities, institutions, or
commercial entities.
The Food waste are:-
Includes food scraps and food trash
from restaurants, grocery stores, and other non-residential sources etc. intended
for anaerobic digestion or composting.
Two types of Waste is generated :-
1. Solid waste:- By-products that users (households, communities,
institutions, commercial entities, etc.) have rejected. Solid waste refers to
anything that is solid or semi-solid in nature (other than human waste). Paper,
broken glass, kitchen garbage, manure from cows or cowsheds, plastic, textiles,
rubber, and agricultural waste are all examples of this type of waste.
2. Liquid Waste:- Liquid Waste" is defined as unwanted or used
water that is discharged from homes, institutions, or business facilities.
