DB Exam Pattern :-
- § The written examination will be of objective type.
- § The Question Paper Language

Medical Standards
Indian Coast Guard Syllabus 2020 The
medical standards for Indian Coast Guard recruitment are given below.
- 1. Height: Minimum 157 cms.
(Reduced height requirement for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas
will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders)
- 2. Chest: Should be well
proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cm.
- 3. Weight: Proportionate to height
and age +10% acceptable.
- 4. Hearing: Normal
- 5. Fitness Level: No
cardio-vascular disease, no surgical deformities like knock knee, flat feet,
etc., no infection of ears, no history of fits or psychiatric ailment, varicose
vein. Candidates undergone corrective surgery for eyesight are not eligible.
- 6. Visual Standards: 6/6 for Better
Eye and 6/9 for Worse Eye. Candidates using glasses are not eligible.
- 7. Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos
are not permitted on any part of the body. However, certain concessions are
permitted to candidates belonging to tribal areas/ communities as declared by
the Govt. of India.
