Note : Answer all the five questions. All questions carry equal marks. Answer to questions no. 1 and 2 should not exceed 600 words each.

1. Compare women's situation in pre-colonial India with that of ancient India.


Discuss in brief the constitutional safeguards and the legislative measures for women's development.

2. Critically look at the education and health status of girl child in India.  


Highlight the main policies for the development of children in India.  

3. Answer any two of the following questions in about 300 words each :
