Note : (i) Answer all the five questions. (ii) All questions carry equal marks. (iii) Answer to question no. 1 and 2 should not exceed 600 words each.

1. Discuss the economic impact of HIV & AIDS at the family and community levels.

OR

The UN Secretary General Kofi Annan has claimed "AIDS has a woman's face". Justify the statement using relevant instances from Indian setting.

2. Analyze different sexual activities in relation to HIV vulnerability. Give associated risk reduction measures.

OR

Examine the manifestations and implications of stigma and discrimination against PLHA in the family and community.  

3. Answer any two of the following questions in about 300 words each :

(a) Discuss the relevance and prospective measures of a legal policy on HIV/AIDS.

(b) Describe the components of pre - test counselling vis-à-vis HIV.

(c) Briefly mention significance and stages of Behaviour Change Communication for prevention of HIV infection.

(d) Highlight social work intervention for prevention of HIV among youth.

(a) Discuss a few myths and associated facts on spread of HIV.

(b) Highlight the linkages between HIV and migration.

(c) Enlist the population which are mostly affected by HIV/AIDS and why ?

(d) Elucidate the role of social worker in palliative care.

(e) Discuss the guidelines for therapy of Hemophilia in order to reduce transmission of HIV.

(f) What are °Is ? Briefly describe most commonly occurring Ols in India.
