1. Define Social Work practice. Highlight the central themes in Social Work practicum.

Discuss the international policies regarding accreditation and standards.

2. Enlist the educational, administrative and helping functions of a fieldwork supervisor.

Present a brief historical account of jails in our country.

3. Answer any two of the following questions in about 300 words each :

(a) Briefly define social development, indicating its overall goals and primary methods.

(b) What are the aspects that educational 1institutions should aspire for with regard to programme curriculam including field education ?

(c) Highlight the tools available to supervisors in performing their supervisory tasks.

(d) Give a brief overview of social work practice in child care setting.

4. Answer any four of the following questions in about 150 words each :

(a) Discuss the global standards for the education and training of the social work profession.

(b) Explain some of the tasks that the student can expect of the fieldwork supervisor.

(c) Describe briefly a field work supervisor's functions in distance learning mode.

(d) Enlist the attributes required by a youth worker.

(e) Highlight some of the nonverbal communication skills.

(f) What style of supervision is preferred by new learners ?
