4. Write an essay on the narrative technique in The Tin Flute.

5. "Michael Ondaatje's The English Patient depends a lot on flashbacks, montages and memory." Explain.

6. Discuss the theme of nostalgia in Rohinton Mistry's "Swimming. Lessons".

7. Comment on the thematic aspect of The Ecstasy of Rita Joe.

8. Write an essay on the recent developments in Canadian criticism.
