IGNOU extends June assignment submission date till 15 June amid lockdown; students can submit online exam
form till 15 June
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended
the last date for submission of assignment for college kids appearing for June
term end exam (TEE) till 15 June
IGNOU said that the last date of accepting the web
examination form without late fee is extended from 15 June the TEE June 2020. The university, however,
has not specified the duration till which candidates can submit their exam
forms with late fees.
As per the circulars released by IGNOU, both steps are taken
thanks to postponement of Learner Support Service activities in the least
Regional Centres/ Learning Support Centres (LSC) across the country till 3 May,
the date till which the countrywide lockdown has been extended in sight of the
coronavirus outbreak.
Earlier,
Human Resource Development Minister (HRD) Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' had
advised the director general of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to postpone
the last date of acceptance of application forms for various entrance exams,
including IGNOU PhD and management exams, by a month thanks to the coronavirus
lockdown.
The 21-day
coronavirus lockdown which was alleged to endways 14 April has been extended
till 3 May within the country’s attempt at fighting the pandemic.

IGNOU Assignment Status 2020 - Gandhi National Open
University has extended the deadline of IGNOU 2020 assignment submission for
July 2019 (Annual Programme) and January 2020 session (Semester based
Programme) to June 15. Earlier, the last date of IGNOU assignment submission
was May 31. The university has provided a facility through which students can
submit IGNOU 2020 assignment for June 2020 TEE in online mode, thanks to COVID
19 lockdown. The scanned copies of handwritten IGNOU assignments got to be sent
to the respective regional centre email address by the scholars . The
university will update the IGNOU 2020 assignment status after the submission of
all the assignments by the scholars .
The university has started publishing IGNOU assignments for
July 2019 and January 2020 session. The last date of submission of IGNOU
assignment for January 2020 session (Annual programmes) is September 30, 2020.
The status of IGNOU assignment 2020 are often checked by visiting the official
website of the university at ignou.ac.in. to see IGNOU assignment status 2020,
students got to enter enrolment number, date of birth and code of the program.
Students are advised to download the IGNOU assignments supported their programs
and submit an equivalent before the last date.
