Paper 1 consist the three major topics General Study, Reasoning and Math. All the topics are compulsory and you need to focus on it. In the General Study you need to cover the topic of General science, social study, economy, political science etc. for math you need to clear upto 10th class basic formula and strategy, and in the reasoning portion you must have the logical point of view.

UGC NET English Literature Syllabus, Paper I & Paper II
- Paper I will have 50 objective type questions with 100 marks
- Paper II have 100 objective type questions with 200 marks
- each question carrying 2 marks.
- All questions are compulsory. The objective type questions covers multiple choices, matching type, true / false and reasoning type

There is a few strategy which help you to deal with this papers, first you need to know the syllabus and then collect the books and material and then make a notes by your own and for the preparation of UGC NET English Literature you should have to make your time table and this will take 6 month for cover the whole syllabus.
