Paper I Syllabus

Paper 1 consist the three major topics General Study, Reasoning and Math. All the topics are compulsory and you need to focus on it. In the General Study you need to cover the topic of General science, social study, economy, political science etc. for math you need to clear upto 10th class basic formula and strategy, and in the reasoning portion you must have the logical point of view.

mostly candidates neglect this Paper 1 but it is not only qualifying but scoring paper that would help you to grow the marks and get the name into list.

UGC NET English Literature Syllabus, Paper I & Paper II  

  • Paper I will have 50 objective type questions with 100 marks 
  • Paper II have 100 objective type questions with 200 marks 
  • each question carrying 2 marks. 
  • All questions are compulsory. The objective type questions covers  multiple choices, matching type, true / false and reasoning type
